When I was little I would see my Granny every Saturday. We'd go down to Portland and do something fun, often going to the waterfront or playing in a fountain or going to Saturday Market. I remember this one day she took me to I think it was Nordstrom's. She said "we need to get you some saltwater sandals," and we proceeded to get matching navy blue ones.
